Becky is honored to be joining Blue Green Expeditions for another adventure to Antarctica! This is a dream destination and a must on any adventurous travelers wish list! This is a unique trip set up for divers to explore walls, ice bergs, sometimes whalebone graveyards and even a possible Antarctic shipwreck! We’ll do 1-2 dives daily with opportunities to see leopard seals, penguins, and dive around ice bergs! If you’re not a diver then i’d highly suggest Polar snorkeling! You’ll be able to see what ice bergs look like underwater, see penguins zip by and seals! Most of the big life is near the surface and the snorkeling is beyond excellent. We can even arrange a drysuit for snorkeling ahead of time. Visiting Antarctica is an unforgettable experience that’s hard to put into words. Along the way we’ll likely encounter several species of whales, birds and other species of marine life. Follow the link below for more information on this adventure of a lifetime! There is nothing more mind blowing than the polar regions of our planet. I couldn’t be more excited to be joining this incredible trip again because Antarctica has a lot to offer, I hope you can join us!
This is a longer itinerary that goes to Falkland Islands, South Georgia where Shackelton is buried, Orkney Islands, Elephant Island and Antarctica of course. It’s exploratory in many ways and we’ll see different species of Penguins, seals, whales and lots of ice! There is so much history in many of the locations too. This trip has only been done once before and is run by Blue Green Expeditions. Faith does an amazing job organizing it and i’m proud to be partnering up with them on trips like this.

Join Faith Ortins and Becky Kagan Schott and other polar specialists on a truly remarkable educational diving oriented expedition to Antarctica.
We embark in Ushuaia, Argentina and sail through the Drake Passage directly to Antarctica. This usually takes about 1.5 days and along the way we will encounter Humpback and Minke whales all while learning unique facts about the polar regions. We will tour glaciers and icebergs on zodiac cruises and set foot on the Antarctic Continent in a magnificent landscape surrounded by alpine peaks and huge glaciers calving at sea level. This trip isn’t just for divers. For non divers there are zodiac tours, land excursions, kayaking, visiting scientific bases and even camping for a night in Antarctica! Now that’s a wild experience! For divers, this is an opportunity to swim with penguins and leopard seals as well as the unique invertebrate life of Antarctica. What’s interesting is Antarctica is so white and grey above the water but underneath is vibrant with color! Oh and don’t forget to claim your own iceberg! Your adventure will include seminars on photography underwater photographer Becky Kagan Schott, and other incredible seminars about polar birds, penguins, scientific stations in Antarctica, whales, and much more. We may get to visit a scientific base and even send post cards from the most southern Post office on the planet (it took 3 months for my post card to make it home!). Visit the white continent and sit among the gentoo penguins as they hop along bergy ice bits and experience what explorers before us would have experienced visiting the most southern continent on Earth.
